Ultrasonic Testing
A test that propagates sound within the object and inspects the internal conditions through reflections from flaws.
"Ultrasonic Testing" is a method that utilizes the property of ultrasound to propagate in a specific direction (directionality) and the characteristic of reflecting at the boundary surfaces of different objects. By propagating ultrasound into the test specimen and measuring the strength of the ultrasound reflected from flaws, as well as the time it takes to return and the range of reflection, the size and shape of the flaws can be estimated, allowing for the evaluation of the test specimen. Additionally, ultrasonic thickness measurement, which uses vertical sensors to assess the degree of wall thinning and corrosion in equipment and piping as thickness values, is widely used in the manufacturing and maintenance of various products. [Features] - Utilizes the property of ultrasound to propagate in a specific direction and the characteristic of reflecting at the boundary surfaces of different objects - Estimates the size and shape of flaws and evaluates the test specimen - Supports ultrasonic thickness measurement - Wide range of applications *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
